There are a lot of Democratic Party presidential candidates.

None of them mean diddly to me.

But I have to tell you, I've grown exceedingly disappointed in the job done by the Bush administration.

It appears all the build-up to war in Iraq was lies, or at the least, misrepresentations. There are no weapons of mass destruction. The easy taking of Baghdad has been followed by a dead GI a day for months.

The tax cut hasn't done much of anything for jobs and the economy. There are just as many folks looking for work now as there were two years ago.

And look what it's done to the budget surplus. We're now running an appalling half-trillion dollars a year deficit that we'll be paying for a generation hence.

They are completely ignoring the reports of their own environmental scientists, even their own EPA appointees like former governor Whitman.

About two years ago, even just a year ago, I could never have imagined myself saying this ... but George Bush will not be getting my vote for re-election in 2004.
